Ø       If fertilizers are not applied earlier, half dose of Nitrogen may be applied in mango, litchi and apple etc.  Also apply FYM and phosphorus and potassium fertilizers to plants.

Tea:. The large trees causing shadow may be lopped so that enough sunshine can be received by tea plants. Start the seed stratification of tea seeds so that it can be planted during February and March. Skiffing and pruning work may be completed in the tea orchards

Cucumber, bitter gourd, bottle guard and summer squash in polytubes inside polyhouse can be done. Seeds should be treated with bivistin @ 2g per kg seed before sowing. Lower plains area viz Una , Hamirpur, parts of Kangra & Chamba may  go for sowing for  bush type

Ensure the treatment of formalin into soil before nursery sowing for damping off as recommended by CSKHPKV, Palampur. Downy mildew in Cole crops is appearing as weather is conducive, for the control spray Dithane M-Z 2-3 g per litres of water at the interval of 10-15 days.
